On Saturday, May 30, students from the 7th Grade, 8th Grade, and High School Bands spent the day at Waldameer Park in Erie, Pennsylvania, for our annual Band Reward Day trip!

A great time was had by all as students enjoyed rides, games, and time together celebrating a successful year of music and hard work.

A special thank you to our students, chaperones, and bus drivers for helping make the day safe, fun, and memorable. We appreciate your support and dedication to our band program!

If you have NOT ordered your cap and gown, you must do so IMMEDIATELY at Jostens

📅 Important Dates
• Baccalaureate – May 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Mecca Community Church
(Class officers must attend)

• Senior Class Trip – May 21, 2026

• Senior Breakfast & MANDATORY Graduation Practice – May 22, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria
⚠️ If you do NOT attend practice, you will NOT walk at graduation. No exceptions!

• Graduation – May 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
Graduates must report to the cafeteria by 12:00 p.m.

👔 Graduation Attire
Boys: Dress shirt with collar, tie, dress pants, and dress shoes
❌ No blue jeans, tennis shoes, or sandals

Girls: White/light-colored dress OR black dress pants and shirt
❌ No flip flops or tennis shoes
Please wear shoes that are easy to walk in.

📚 Reminder: ALL outstanding fees (library, lunch, sports, class fees, etc.) must be paid before graduation day in order to receive your diploma.

On Thursday, May 7, students designed and built their own egg protection devices to see if their egg could survive a 30-foot bucket truck drop. This hands-on activity is always a student favorite, and this year we had 20 surviving eggs!
